The AGM of the club took place at Klazinga Park on Wednesday evening, 16th October, with a new committee being chosen. The new committee has some familiar and new faces as we continue on our journey in the very capable hands of our Chairman Paul Maggott. There is a change in the Junior Chairmanship with Sean Passman stepping down after sterling work over the last few seasons. We have recognised that the size of the junior portfolio requires a different approach and have thus created a Junior Chair for Under 5 to Under 11, and a separate Junior Chair or Read More

The 2019 AGM will take place at Klazinga Park at 7pm on Wednesday 16th October. We encourage all members to attend to ensure you have your say in reviewing the way the club has been managed in 2019 and to participate in the election of the office bearers for 2020. We furthermore encourage members to stand for election to assist in the effective running of our club. We, in advance, thank our 2019 committee for an excellent job done !
Our First team finished off a very challenging 2019 season with a 3-2 win over relegation threatened Wynberg St Johns, an excellent result for us given Wynberg’s recent form as they strive to avoid the drop. The win, just our 7th of the season (and this after winning the first 3) to go with 10 drawn matches, was the final action of a season which saw us flirt with relegation, have much player churn, and finish with two of our 16 year old strikers scoring goals to secure the last day of season win. So much to reflect on, much Read More
The penultimate round of fixtures of the 2019 season saw leaders Norway Parks Magic FC stretched all the way at neighbours FN Rangers, shading their never say die opponents in a 9 goal thriller, final score 5-4 to Parks. Second placed Saxon Rovers had a tough assignment at 3rd placed Hanover Park, themselves still in the title race, and Rovers knew that nothing less than a win would do, they achieved this with a very hard fought and narrow 2-1 win. The results have effectively ended Hanover Park’s interest in title honours, and leave Royal Road residents Norway Parks and Read More
With our Premier league status secure, we travelled to Malta Park on Friday night to to take on relegation threatened FC Kapstadt. The under pressure hosts ran out 3-2 winners to keep their hopes of overtaking a resurgent Wynberg St Johns alive, which is required to avoid joining Bothasig in the First Division next season. For our boys, a disappointing night and probably a sign that they look forward to the end of what has been an extremely challenging season, a season which ends next Saturday at Klazinga Park against Wynberg.
A 2-2 draw with Vasco da Gama, our 10th draw of the season, and moving us to 28 points, allied to FC Kapstadt going down 1-0 at Bellville City, means that our First team, in what has been a challenging season, have removed any threat of relegation. FC Kapstadt, 2nd bottom, can only achieve a maximum of 27 points. Our remaining 2 encounters, on Friday night at FC Kapstadt, and at home on Saturday against Wynberg, will have a major bearing on who goes down as it appears to be a shootout between these two clubs to join Bothasig in Read More
Midweek results have created the scene for a potentially season defining weekend of Premier league action. Our First team, encouragingly fielding a raft of home grown youngsters, enjoyed a comfortable 5-0 over First division bound Bothasig to put us 3 points off Premier league safety. Fellow strugglers Vasco da Gama beat Bellville City 3-1, while Sunningdale City had an impressive 5-2 win at Avendale, however the result of the midweek action has to be the 2-0 win Wynberg St John’s enjoyed over leaders Saxon Rovers, this coming on the back of their victory at Edgemead. With Norway Parks Magic FC Read More
